Foreclosure filings up and down... what is going on?
"First, the good news: Foreclosure filings dropped nearly 10% between December and January.

December and January of 2009 showed promising signs that things were turning around for homeowners falling short on their mortgages. Foreclosure filings were down 10% compared to the year before; Americans were hopeful and just as homeowners were starting to move forward, BAM! Foreclosures filings reported a 15% increase last month and Home Repossessions jumped 31% for January 2010 compared to the same time last year... What is going on with this foreclosure rollercoaster?
